1. Check-In 3:00 pm. Beginning April 1st 2009, check in time is 3:00pm Check-Out 11:00 am.

2. We do not provide blankets, sheets, towels and pillows!

3. One's nights deposit is due within 3 days of a reservation.

Cane Creek cabin is nestled on a one hundred and ten acre preserve. The cabin has two stories; the first floor contains the kitchen, bathroom and living room, and the second floor has two bedrooms. The Cane Creek cabin is located outside of the Red River Gorge geological area; but, has it has ample outdoor space for recreation and private hiking trails on the preserve as well as nearby trails on US Forest Service land.

The Cane Creek preserve contains stocked fishing pond with bass, bluegill and catfish, and has ample parking and outdoor living space. Cane Creek cabin is an excellent choice for groups and families who do not need immediate access to the Red River Gorge geological area, but who are still looking for a retreat with ample space for outdoor activities. Cane Creek cabin is also located near mountain bike and horseback riding trails.

Tall Timbers is accessible by road and setting includes a stream fed brook in the front yard. The cabin has two stories: the first story contains the kitchen, bathroom and living room, and the second floor has two bedrooms. Tall Timbers cabin can sleep 6 comfortably: two bedrooms with 2 single beds, and two additional guests in a futon. Tall Timbers cabin has immediate access to Trail #221, the Rough Trail, from the Martin’s Fork parking lot

The cabin has two stories: the first story contains the kitchen, bathroom and living room and one bedroom, and the second floor has one bedroom. White Pines cabin can sleep 6 adults: two bedrooms with 2 single movable beds in each; 1 futon that can sleep 2. White Pines cabin has immediate access to Trail #221, the Rough Trail, from the Martin’s Fork parking lot.

The Backcountry shelter is the ultimate camping experience offering the minimalist approach to enjoying nature's beauty. Similar to Mountain huts found in remote areas like the Great Smoky Mountains, our backcountry shelter offers the prefect combination of modern amenities with the pastoral way of living.

The Backcountry shelter resembles a primitive campsite in that it is located along a trail near an old logging road in the geological area. The shelter does not have electricity and does not have running water.

The Backcountry shelter is accessible by a 4WD vehicle; a 2WD vehicle can get you 2/3rds of the way, and the shelter is also accessible by hiking approximately a 1/4 mile.

If you decide to hike, the 1/4 mile approach is suitable to carry your equipment, i.e. sleeping bag, food, and personal gear by backpack.  To cut down on time, not all items are required to be packed in because at the shelter there's already drinking water and large cooking skillets, battery operated lanterns,  forks, knives, spatulas, cooking board and water for dishes.  Please read the list below for a complete description of the items provided.

Nota Bene: We have outfitted the shelter with the necessary items such as drinking water, battery operated lanterns and heat, all of which is easy to use and is provided.
