  1. Are pets allowed at the cabins?

    Yes. Our two dogs enjoy the area as much as we do.


  2. Is the cabin availability up-to-date?

    Yes. Our cabin availability software is kept online, so it is accurate. For instance, as soon as someone books a cabin that change is reflected in the availability for that cabin.


  3. Is there a store on the property?

    Yes. Yogi's is open and has a variety of groceries and camping related items.


  4. Where do I pick up the combination?

    The combination can be picked up at our store on the property.


  5. How do I pay for a cabin?

    • You may use your credit card on our online secure check-out (Pay Pal).

    • You may send us a check. Please make all checks out to Red River Gorgeous and send to:

    • You can use your credit card over the phone.

  6. Why does Red River Gorgeous have a Cincinnati address and telephone phone number? Shouldn't it have a Red River Gorge (Stanton, KY) address and telephone phone number?

    Good question.
    Red River Gorgeous has two offices. Our office in Cincinnati keeps track of the books and runs the website. Our office in the Red River Gorge manages the business and runs Yogi's.


  7. I must cancel a reservation. Can I be refunded?

    Yes. Just tell us 2 weeks in advance.


  8. Do we provide linens or pillows?

    No. To cut down on the costs associated with linen cleaning, you should bring sleeping bags and or blankets and your favorite pillow. Alternatively, our caretakers can provide linens for your cabin at small charge.


  9. What activities are there to do on our property?

    Go fishing, go for a short hike, canoe or swim in the pond.


  10. What activities are there to do nearby?

    Hike on the Natural Bridge, check out some US Forest Service trails, canoe on the Red River, rock climb at Military Wall, grab a pizza at Miguel's. Check out some of the local web sites on the Red River Gorge for more info.


  11. Will my cell phone work at the cabin?

    It's unlikely. But there is a telephone in each cabin that can make local calls and long distance calls with a calling or credit card. The nearest pay telephone is right as you get off the exit.


  12. Do I have to purchase a pass for overnight parking?

    No. When you rent one of our cabins you are on privately owned land, and you do not have to purchase an overnight pass. If you park alongside of the road or in a Forest Service parking lot between 10:00 pm and 6:00, the US Forest Services rules require you to purchase a pass. Passes are sold at US Forest Service information centers and at gas stations and general stores in the area.


  13. Can I smoke in the cabin?

    No. All of our cabins are smoke-free.
